When I was 16 years old my mum and dad gave me a camera. It was a Minolta SLR with a 50mm lens. 

 

I took that camera on my first overseas trip to Indonesia. I took photos of street life, landscapes and people. The results were imperfect but I loved how that camera allowed me to tell stories. 

 

Travel and photography are constants in my life now. I travel as often as possible and I tell stories about what I see.
